Important Information About Residence Permit

1. If the relevant procedures are not followed, legal action will be taken by the relevant institutions.

2. As long as your residence permit is valid, you do not need a visa to enter Türkiye. For example, when you go to your country for semester/interim vacation and return to Türkiye, you can enter with your residence permit. If your residence permit is about to expire, it is advisable to confirm your status with the authorities prior to your trip to avoid a last minute problem at the airport.

3. The Immigration Authority takes into account the date of the online application. Therefore, the online application must be submitted before the visa or residence permit expires under all circumstances.

4. The address you provide when applying for a residence permit must be correct and complete.

5. In cases such as change of name/surname, change of passport, change of marital status, change of address or change of department/program, the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management should be informed immediately.

6. Your Residence Permit Card must not be erased or scratched in any way. In case of loss of the Residence Permit Card, you should immediately apply to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
