Erasmus program is a European Union program to encourage higher education institutions to cooperate with each other. Higher education institutions to produce and implement joint projects with each other; It provides non-refundable financial support for short-term student and academic staff exchange.

Universities with which our department has an agreement within the scope of Erasmus Program:

Although the program started in 1987 in Europe, Turkey participated in this program in 2003-2004 academic year through pilot projects.  It also operates in Erasmus department of Psychology, which is a student and academic staff exchange program with European universities. Within the scope of the program, there are student and personnel exchanges in our department. Prof. Dr. Hacer Harlak attended Universita Degli Studi di Napoli on 4-12 May 2008 and Dr. Ansis Jurģis Stabingis attended our department on 24-26 September 2008.

In addition, 7 of our students have had the chance to study at European universities by taking advantage of Erasmus mobility so far. One student from Romania Dimitrie Cantemir University also studied in our department for one semester within the scope of Erasmus exchange.

As a department, our initiatives continue to increase the choice of our students by making more bilateral agreements.
